This branch of the coffee chain always seems pretty busy. There is both indoor snd outdoor seating and service seems rapid despite queues at times. The coffee is good and you can add chocolate on top or cinnamon to a cappuccino which I appreciated. My pumpkin maple scone was quite tasty. I’d definitely return for the coffee! ☕️
Peet’s is always busy but the service comes fast and warm.
Located nearby the river, it’s a great place to take a break from waking riverside.
Even it’s busy, but pretty quiet.
Small but equipped with everything. Plug provided.
Love the chai latte, warming up the day😉
Snack is okay, no surprise but good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Visited Peets on several occasions during our recent stay in Chicago.
Great location close to the river, extremely friendly service, fast internet and very palatable coffee ☕️
Highly recommend
I have been to a few Peets locations but this is one of my favorites. Great coffee, great service and of course great people watching. If you’re looking for a change from the green giant.. check this out.
I give it 5⭐️
Jerry ( the pigeon) gives it 5⭐️

Beautiful location for a coffee house!
During our visit to Chicago, we stopped by Peet’s Coffee for a quick coffee break.
Despite being too crowded on labor day weekend, their service was fairly quick. We ordered Hot Cappuccino for the 4 of us as it was quite a windy day.
The coffee was good, we chose to be seated outside. Their fresh bakery items are highly recommended.

I would give this a 3/5.
We ordered the tropical green tea.
The tropical green tea was watered down and didn’t have any tropical element.
The other drink we orders was a Carmel frappe it didn’t have much ice which was the downfall of the drink. Also the whip cream wasn’t our favorite
The best was the strawberry lemonade tea was good. I would still prefer Starbucks version but overall this was a 4/5.
i v been a peet’s coffee lover for a long time but never visited their caffe, i went there 3 months ago and it becomes my second favorite caffe now, love their coffee and Food,
Let me preface this with, I just realized I forgot my wallet and I wanted to run in for water and a quick snack. So, my brain was scattered and I was in a panic. I asked if I could use tap to pay, which thankfully this location has.
I asked the staff if there was bottled water and she said in the case. Now, naturally from first glance, there was no water, as the way the display is designed, you have to bend to knee level to see waters in the back. So I only saw another type of beverage. And the staff member said it's blue and silver, I look again, I didn't see it. I looked across the case and she repeats blue and silver. I didn't see it, again, I'm confused and again scatter brained. So I grabbed the only item I saw, which was green and silver. And she repeated again blue and silver. Maybe I was hearing the wrong thing I thought. So I finally bent over to knee level and saw the blue and silver bottles in the back.
She started laughing, told two of her coworkers with her back towards me that I don't know my colors and what an idiot I am and she even removed herself from checking me out so she wouldn't technically be laughing in my face.
Shame on you. You chose customer service, and if you don't have 30 seconds of patience in your body, don't put yourself in a position to be disgusting. The appropriate solution, would have been to say, sorry sometimes you have to check in the back and it might have registered to me to look in a place that seems slightly unnatural from a display perspective.
I take responsibility for not being in the right frame of mind in that moment, but that doesn't mean it gives the staff the right to laugh at people for an honest mistake. I can't imagine what it would be like if someone had a hearing impairment, they would get laughed at for hearing the wrong thing. Or what if they're colorblind? Guess it would be the same result.
